A Message from Our Outgoing Chairman: Our CanCham-Hong Kong
Dear Members and Friends,
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong has grown in membership, influence, visibility, and connectivity, strengthening its ability to serve as a bridge between Canada and Hong Kong, business and community, and opportunity and action. The Chamber’s legacy is not only what we have achieved, but also the people we have empowered to carry that work forward.
As I step down as Chairman, I do so with gratitude for what we have built together through our shared commitments to Commerce, Collaboration, Connectivity, Community, Cooperation, Canada, and Hong Kong. Artificial intelligence, climate change, geopolitical uncertainty, evolving business models, supply-chain pressures, regulatory shifts, and rising expectations for corporate and civic engagement are reshaping the world around us. Hong Kong, too, continues to evolve, in its role in global commerce, its talent landscape, its institutions, and its cultural character. I have no doubt that our Chamber is well positioned to successfully navigate with our membership across this rapidly changing commercial and socioeconomic landscape.
Our progress reflects the commitment of our members, volunteers, partners, sponsors, secretariat team, and leaders. To everyone who contributed to this journey, thank you for your trust, generosity, and perseverance. I leave the Chairmanship with deep gratitude, may the next leadership team continue to strengthen the bridge we have built, connecting with courage, cooperating with integrity, and leading with vision.
