Monthly Committee Round Up: August

• Financial Service Committee: discuss how we can better serve our members and provide more value. The key focus areas include Networking & Education, Upcoming FSC Events, and Policy Advocacy.
   
• Entrepreneur and Small Business Committee: focused on the 4th Episode of our Thematic Series - How Entrepreneurial Are You? Members presented their own entrepreneurial ventures, showcasing their innovative ideas. A special highlight was Marie Yawa ABUI who introduced her delicious canapés and shared insights on her collaboration with the community. (bottom right and left)
   
• The Sustainable Development Committee: announcing several exciting developments. We welcomed a new co-chair and several new members to the team. Additionally, we are thrilled to kickstart one of our popular events: Beach Cleaning 2024 on November 2. Be sure to mark your calendars—more details coming soon! (top)
   
• The Sustainable Development Committee: Event Recap: ESG & Anti-Corruption Event
  CanCham proudly co-hosted with HONG KONG ESG Club Sustainability Dialogue Series, and venue sponsored by the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong & Macao | Consulat général du Canada à Hong Kong et Macao. We delved into "ESG and Anti-Corruption: Strategies for Responsible Business."
  
  We were honored to have Mr. Joe Lee, Managing Director of INTAD Limited, as our guest speaker. A special thanks to Sustainable Development Committee’s Co-chair, Steve Lu, for his insightful introductory remarks, which highlighted the vital activities of both SDC and CanCham.
  
  We had a full house in attendance, with over 120 participants joining us online!
